This photo was taken 23 Nov 1999, the day "Jenta" was unveiled. The pupils seemed intrigued and excited by how much she looked like them. They played with her, dressed her in their hats and gloves and so quickly seemed to accept her as a part of their environment. This is what I had hoped for, that she should be part of their school days, just as I wish for art and creativity to be a natural and important part of their education and life.
